I wanted to read this yesterday, but work is being a bitch… more overtime for me, but I wasn’t going to put this off another day! And I’m relishing the opportunity to finish my re-read of When Your Lover Breaks. :)
I really love the peaceful setting of the garden and Jared’s house. I can see him relaxing in the garden drinking coffee, or in his office, hunched over the keyboard in a marathon writing session.
Love this:
Putting his beer down on the patio table he stepped close enough to see the faint outline of whiskers on the other man’s translucent cheeks. It was more like glimmers of light than facial hair. Or like pixie dust.
So much Jared can see, yet so curious about what he can’t, but yet let that side of his nature subside so that Jensen can reveal things about himself to Jared on his own.
I get such a kick out of Jared’s friends, especially Misha and Brian. Brian’s “You see dead people” had me cracking up. And then explaining the movie (Somewhere In Time: “Not Superman playing Superman.” Hee hee
( ... )
The fact that Jared's considering his situation to be similar to one of my all-time favorite movies - Somewhere in Time - Damn, woman! I'm well and truly hooked! I can't want to read more!
