Gosh, this story is amazing. So well thought out. Pro One wanted all of this, wanted a chance to experience life. Wanted to feel and touch and all the things a human gets to. He would actually, in a way, have a full life even though it was only for ninety days. Wouldn’t we, as humans, want the same? To experience as much life as we could in the time we’re allotted. Of course, we don’t have the knowledge of knowing our ‘expiration’ date as Pro One does, but I doubt that would stop many of us for living life to the fullest given the chance
( ... )
I'm happy you liked the rescue. I came up with that one myself and really action scenes are my weakest point. I'm proud of how it came out and so happy you liked it!
Jared took Jensen’s hand in his and squeezed hard. “You played dad.”
that's so true
" then he asked me if I would choose not to live just because I’m also going to die someday.”
and that's so true too
You know? Im kind of scared for Pro-one because I don't want Pro-one die but after every chapter that I read is a confimation that is going to happen, at first I thought maybe they were going to find something to help him to not die, but I don't think that anymore :(
I totally understand Jensen's side and Chad's side and Pro-one side,,, these themes are always very difficult to come to an agreement isn't?

And my job here is done :) I really appreciate that comment because I wasn't really looking to answer anything. Just to bring up questions. And in this story there is no right and wrong. Truthfully, everything one needs to know is in the prologue.
Thanks for your many wonderful comments along the way.
*smile* These comments are so making my day. (Which may be a sad description of how my work life goes :) Seriously, thanks so much. This story did percolate a long time. But I ended up writing the latter part of it rather quickly and under the BB deadline, which forced my hand. Um, pun intended, I guess :)
B-but then he asked me … if I would choose not to live just because I’m also going to die someday.” God, I teared up at that. Age old question. During this chapter, I am finally "getting" the music mix, really great job done on that. Jared just can't help himself around Jensen can he? Big rescue sequence and he's trying to focus I'm sure. The bonding and Jared knowing that Jensen isn't a monster, he's just human. A big hearted, gorgeous geek. :)
Thanks again. That line is of course the central theme of this story. What I personally love about sci-fi are the questions it poses. So I posed my own and tried to get to all sides of it with this little morality story. In between there's a great friendship and the start of a love affair. I hope you think I pulled all the parts together in a good way.
I think you've done a fabulous job pulling all of it together. I'm saying fabulous b/c my thesaurus is in a box somewhere and I can't think of a better word b/c I'm to enthralled with reading. I too find it fascinating, the morality of it. I just keep thinking what are you to do when something/someone you love asks you to do them a favor. Even if it's something you know will affect you directly and it's going to end badly. Such a great story, really :)
