1- *winces* God, it's painful watching Dean fade away into nothing. Tricia's offended, but really, I think that's the least of our worries.

2- Oh, God, he doesn't recognize his dad. Oh God, oh God, oh God.

4- Uh, monster-thing? When I said you'd have to fight harder for Sammy, it wasn't a recommendation. *glares*

6- Hey, now I finally get to find out what your title was all about! I'm not all that well-read on the lore about golems, so it never occurred to me that one could, uh, "imprint" on another human being. Hurray for Smart!John.

Also, I'm very very glad that John realizes that a Dean without Sammy isn't really Dean at all. He's not a terrible person, he's just... really messed up. Oh, John.

Of course, fixing this is going to be a different kettle of fish entirely.

When Dean says, I have a brother? That might have been the hardest line I've ever written. Almost. I did kill them both once in another story.

Jesus. There really isn't much left of Dean without his memories of Sammy.

I know. I played a bit loose with logic in this one to make more of an emotional point. Truthfully Dean was formed very much from his raising of his little brother and would be very different without this.
