I know I'm repetitive, quoting great lines like you don't already know them -- but I want to let you know what *really* works. And those lines -- and Sam's absolute faith in Dean -- work. :-)
Thanks so much. It does mean a lot to know what particular lines worked for someone. And your detailed comments have been lovely and very appreciated. I wrote this some time ago. Yet I'm not quite as out of canon as all that given how tired Dean was, how he really did want to give up. And how Sam's faith pulled him back.
