It's been awhile since I posted, I guess. Life just rolls on day after day, not waiting for me to do all of the things that I need/want to do each day.

So, I'm still in the competition for Sock Madness 3, making it through Round 3 (the first in my division to finish) just last week. There are 4 divisions with 12 in each division advancing to Round ( Read more... )

That's actually not too far from us. I'll have to add it to our calendar. I think Erik would love that. Though it is not in New England (I thought we were moving to New England when we moved out here. I think we are called mid-Atlantic). Everything is so close out here it gets confusing.

I'm sure it will be very crowded, but maybe not so much in the barns.

Mid-Atlantic does seem more reasonable, but I do know people that are coming from Boston. That is considered NE, right? ;)

I don't know. Boston is way far away, that's all I know *lol*.

It is probably going to be so stinking hot here this weekend that we won't go. It's been in the 90s the last couple of days.

If you want to come back and go the Shepherd's Harvest Festival with me over Mother's Day weekend, you'd be welcome. ;-) As always your socks are gorgeous and I especially love the periwinkle blue Talias. I know you'll make it through SM3 round 4 and beyond to the final 4 and then final 2! (me, I think I'll meet my demise in this round-not fast enough for you speedsters). But, I'll be cheering you on throughout. Go House of Seven Cables! And now that you've seen the face to match the voice--can we still talk again? hee hee!

I would love to, but I don't see that happening, either. Wisconsin has a sheep & wool festival, too, I've heard.

And, oh yes, we will talk again!
