My daughter is moving is weekend. I am helping. I get to drive the big truck, a Mercedes with a lift! Cool! Can't do much else, though. I no sooner got here, after driving 7 hours and picking up the truck, then my right knee gave out. I didn't even do anything other than walk into her apartment building. I hope your leg will be better by Friday. Did I mention I live on the first floor, so there will be stairs! I hope that and the getting the train won't be too much for you.

I showed tysolna a few yarn places Friday night, so she can show you.

Aww, I'm so sorry about your knee. Pressure from driving and foot on the gas pedal stress it? Hope you have some wrap for it and some meds. That reminds me to find or invent a pattern for a knitted "knee cozy" ! I've been wondering what you were up to since we haven't heard from you for a while.

I can't get to the song website you mentioned at home, but will check it out next week at work. Sorry also about death by socks in the Sock Wars III and IV.. both? bah! But I know you were an excellent sock warrior, plus at the same time you were competing, and winning Silver in the Olympian Sock Contest. Go team Lipstick. You are the sock knitting guru. Tell me more about the mystery shawl knit along (it scares me as being above my capabilities).

edited to ask, are you still off to Germany in Sept?

There will be no Germany trip in September. L hasn't been training on the inline skates. Hopefully, we'll go another time!

Mystery Stole 4 (http://pinklemontwist.blogspot.com/2008/08/mystery-stole-4-sign-ups-are-open-until.html), you get a clue a week until there are no more clues. No pictures of the finished project, so you see the pattern develop as you knit. I did Mystery Stole 3 last year. It was the shawl that I gave to my daughter in June.

Har du fortfarande inte fått hjälp av den svenska sjukvården?? Skandal!
Har du dött i två av flera olika sock-krig och har ett krig kvar...eller...jag har lite svårt att förstå hur det går till.
