So wrong....SO WRONG! (yet, so right...) (Also: TEABAGGING, ugh)

Have you ever laughed at someone's stupidity and felt completely okay with laughing at them? Not even a pang of guilt? Doesn't it just make the feeling even better when they are entirely ignorant of what they've done to make you ROFL? So they just keep on repeating it, and before you know it you're a giggling zombie because you've laughed ( Read more... )

They're having one in my town.

I can't blame people for being upset: we've lost 8200 jobs in the last year or so. And our town only has (had) 10,000 people in it. But...

That doesn't make it sound any less silly, does it?

Yeah, I'm totally not ridiculing their opinions or their protests, but seriously? "Teabagging" has been a dirty word for probably a lot longer than I've been alive. Surely enough of them have heard it in that context (or even used it!) that they could get the word out to their friends. "Um, guys....ix-nay on the eabag-tay..."

Listen carefully. Soon we'll be able to hear a monumental *facepalm* sweep the nation. Kind of like how Homer Simpson's "D'OH!!" can be heard reverberating from one side of Springfield to the other. :)

That just makes me sad. Rachel's report made me smile - surreal silliness that she can barely keep a straight face for, so much less galling.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

My friend Blair made a remark on facebook about republican faux pas, but I hadn't actually heard what it was until I saw your post. Holy fucken Moses, the fallout from this will be EPIC. *orders popcorn*

The "TeabagObama" twitterfeed really takes the cake in all this. It's just... Beautifully horrible.

I… I think I strained something trying not to laugh out loud and scare the cats (again). Teabagging Congress. Oh my good gracious.

The Twitter just sort of makes me shake my head and look away from the colossal train wreck.

Once again, I'm out of touch with current slang. I know teabaggers as people who prefer British sport cars. I'm guessing it has acquired another meaning. Like emo and tranny did. Ah well, I'm a nerd, I'm used to being out of touch.
