Bigass Update

I finally found time to post again.

Prom was a while ago. I went with Michael. I wore a really nice red dress, and he looked really handsome in a nice tux. He got me a beautiful corsage that I wore around my wrist all night. We went to an Italian place to eat first, and his friend Chase was there, and later so was Rena. They both went to prom. There ( Read more... )

At my prom we had a Fairy tale theme and everyone was given these little grab bag thingies with picture frames, champagne glasses and a dance card. A lot of people also stole the center pieces :P

I know that this is your journal and that these are your opinions, but I don't think you should diss the military like that. I have a lot of friends who are in the Navy, the Army, the Air Force and the Marines and I was in NJROTC for three years and meant a lot of former Marines and Sailors who are great people. Maybe you don't like the war in Iraq or the president or any of that, but those people are doing this because they want to do something honorable and protect us and dissing the military is a slap in their faces. I'm sorry I sound prechy or if it sounds like I'm trying to force my beliefs on you, I'm not, but you're not going to die just because you go into the military and I don't think it's right for you to say you want to kick the military's ass.

Sorry, I just can't stand the military, war, or violence. My friend Jill's first boyfriend that she fell for went into the marines. He was probably 20. He was shot down and killed in this war. The reason he went into the military was for helping people and the scholarship stuff just like my two idiot friends.

Even worse, Nick, one of the guys I know signed for the marines now, is engaged to one of my oldest friends, Marena. I'm terrified that he's going to die just like Jill's boyfriend. Nick doesn't even believe in the military or war. He mostly did it for the scholarship. It's 87,000 $.

I don't say things like this to soldiers or their loved ones, but I think in my lj I should be allowed to vent when at least one of my friends is likely to die in this war. There's so many good kids that have died because of that war here.

Glad you had fun at prom and the grad party. And yay for graduation! :D And good luck with your summer classes.

Uggggh, I have a weird fear of possums. I would probably have cried if that happened to me, lmao.

And I'm sorry that your sister doesn't seem to get it. *rolls eyes* I am Christian, but definitely not a "Crazy Christian" like she seems to be. I believe what I believe, and it doesn't really bother me when other people believe different things. In fact, that's perfectly fine by me. I think you should believe what ever you want to believe, not what ever I want you to believe. Okay, mini-rant over. ;)

Thanks! :)

I hid in the car from the possum. lol About 1 minute into the drive away I was laughing about how we must live in the middle of nowhere if possums are what we have to worry about.

Yeah, a lot of my friends feel the same as you. I don't hold being a Christian against anyone, but Psycho Chrisitans don't even seem to believe the same stuff. *shudders*

Wow. I had no idea you were a senior. *hangs head in deep shame*

Well, congrats on the graduating! As an award, I shall use my brand spanking new sexy Davenport icon. *thumbs up* Bask in your victory.

Your sister is insane. I'm sorry. But she is.

And I feel like a DOPE for not replying to your comment in my POTC 3 review. Yes, I definitely got chills during that entire beginning sequence. It made me so sad, especially for the little boy.

I literally JUST came back from seeing it for the second time. ... *breaks down and cries... again*

Awesome! Now I'm replying with my own Jack Davenport icon! ;)

I know. She's a total nutbag and I want to find a way to inject her with common sense. She's only ever been this way since she lived in Alabama for a while. I think that explains everything. When I visited all her old neighbors were the same.

I can believe Disney killed an adorable singing probably-awesome-and-related-to-a-pirate-boy. *sniffs* It was an amazing scene, though.

It might be better the second time. I was sort of hypnotized me both times, though so I'm not sure...

I just passed the filing class last Thursday because I took quiz 7 (the last quiz) and the final exam test. I think I got a C on my final exam test and I know my final grade for this class is B. So now I don't have to go to filing class anymore! How is history class for you?

I'm glad you passed the class and finished! :)

I'm going to be in History class for a couple more weeks. I got an A on my midterm, though.

Thanks, a midterm is the final that happens in the middle of the school year. That's why it's different from the last final.
