Not another crush! *face palm*

Yes, I now have to admit that I have gotten a crush on Greg Proops.

It’s so weird because it wasn’t a full crush until yesterday afternoon. I turned on Whose Line is it Anyway? on BBCA, and it was an episode where he looked really young. He had to have been in his thirties at the time but he looked a lot younger. Maybe part of that was because he ( Read more... )

Crushes like that you kind of have to fight against. I remember the first time I watched the orignal Blues Brothers movie, I was so surprised by how young and thin Dan Aykroyd looked that I started to get a crush on him, but I fught against it and stopped myself. :P

Nah, this isn't gonna go. There's too many reasons why the crush started. His brain, his cute looks from the BBC days, his talent, he makes me cry from laughing. It's gonna stay.

Then in that case you have my blessing. Go forth and squee away. :) (Did you know that Greg Proops was in the Nightmare before Christmas? I think he played the devil and one other character.)

Yeah, I heard about that!
Too cool really that he was in a Burton film. He did the devil and 2 other voices I think, so he was actually also in the soundtrack. :)

Greg's the best! XD I don't think they air the second season of Whose Line anymore (if ythey dom I haven't seen it), but that's when he first appeared on the show. Used to show it on Comedy Central way back when. I really like him 'cuz he's always spiffed up.

'Oversexed, overacting, and over here: Greg Proops.'

And nothing to do with Greg much, but I sorta miss the authors game. =(

Yeah, I heard he was great on his first episode on the 2nd season. They'll probably show it again eventually.
I've never seen them play authors. *tear*

I did get to see the episode where Greg and Ryan were pretending to be "German strippers... with a shoulder disability!" though. lol
He also read the credits on an episode of american Whose Line as a stripper because he was the one that started the Africa is a continent thing joke on Drew.

I'm so glad I recorded those, but did they have to play one after the other? The TV is trying to kill me! ;)

He first appeared on the first episode of the second season. First game was authors, and his author was the creator of 'The Waltons.'

Authors is where the players stand in a line and they go down the line and narrate a story in the style of their chosen author. Tony once did an instruction manual. (Mighta been on Greg's first episode, too.) Josie usually did proper authors, but I think she did a trash novel once. Can't remember.

Thanks, I didn't know how authors worked. I heard about the episodes at Whose Line Wiki, but I didn't look up Authors. I hope I can see them play that game one day.

I remember being really surprised when I found out that Greg's first time on the show was before Ryan's. I guess he found out about the show through Mike.

I feel your pain love. I too have a rather large level of lusting appreciation for Mr Proops. Have you heard his Audible Proops audible.com show? Very good.

I've been downloading stuff from sites like crazy. I already have that, the Just a Minute appearance, his appearance on Wayne Brady's show and a bunch of others. He's killing me with humor.

Thanks for spreading the love. ;)

I actually bought so Audible Proops shows with my dwindling supply of £s the other day, so if I ever get them converted to mp3, I will upload! Greg is so good on radio and tv appearances.. just his manner of talking and his way with words.

I also downloaded Drew Carey's Sporting Adventures from mininova... it's really strange to see them in "real time" (real time being June) as opposed to early-year-2000s appearances. Mhm.

By the way, I added you, if that's okay? :)

I hope you can do that because that would be great! He has great delivery and wit. A lot of fun to listen to.

Cool, I'm going to try to download that.

Of course that's fine. :)
I friended you back.
