Hand surgery went well.  Full anesthesia was not as bad as I feared at all, although I was pleased to get home and sleep off the odd indescribable leftover feeling.  Its a gorgeous day out, wish I could join Dave on his bikeride, but as I have a huge heavy non-removable hthing on my hand, typing one-handedly is my activity threshold.  Now let's see
