Yesterday was my last day at uni. Now I have 24 days to study for the SIP2, the big multiple-choice examen at the end of the semester covering the subject matter of the whole year. Fortunately, I made myself a study schedule, to which I stick to more or less.
Right now, I'm actually taking a small break:)

X-Men: The Last Stand - On Thursday, I went ( Read more... )

yeah, the chess piece did move. lol. that confused us too because we've always heard its a definate thing that Last Stand was the last movie.

as far as i know, its always been rogue and bobby, but i haven't read the comics yet either. and i got the same impression about angel, which i didn't like. they build him up like he was going to do something bigger, so i was a bit dissappointed.

Anytime anyone in Hollywood says a movie or TV series is definitely over, always mentally add "Unless this movie makes a whole boatload of money or we get offered a lot of money to continue."

The chess piece definitely did move a little bit. My cousins and I decided that the "cure" isn't all that permanant because the mutant from which the cure was derived (bald kid in white) only has a temporary effect on other mutants.

Actually, my friend said the same thing about Lorelai/Chris and Luke/Lorelai. Of course, by the end of the series it has to be Luke/Lorelai, but right now, I don't think Christopher is that bad anymore.

Howdy, I haven't seen the movie yet. My understanding from people who know the comic is that Bobby/Rogue never actually happened in comic verse - it's entirely unique to the movies. So I'm afraid you aren't going to find the answers to that question.

On the possibility of X4. Before the release of the film, there were some wishy washy comments from Fox Head Tom Rothman. At the same time, all the writers of the film seem to be saying they were handling it like it was the last. Add to that the fact that according to other sources, things like the scene with Magneto were filmed in pick ups, rather than the original production run.

What we do know. They are definitely doing a Wolverine stand alone. They are working on a possible script for a Magneto prequel. They have discussed the vague idea of doing something with the next generation ( ... )

Hey! Thanks for dropping by:). So they're doing a Wolverine stand alone. Although the idea of Hugh Jackman is tempting, having gone and seen "Van Helsing" because of him and regretting it (well, it was funny to some extent, but the ending was .... - "I have no words."), makes me a bit cautious.
Anyways - I'm more looking forward to "Spiderman 3", since he's my favourite action hero. And the fact that Topher Grace is in this one;).

Thanks for all the information!

Gambit and Rogue. They need a Gambit and Rogue movie. In an interview bringing Gambit in the 4th movie was mentioned, that's why he was left out this film.

Did you catch what happened after the CREDITS? There is a small 30 second scene at the end of the credits.

I seem to have missed that part, unfortunately. But I read somewhere that it had to do with Professor Xavier being in someone else's body.
What power does Gambit have?
