because we have so little drama as it is on our hands right now. sigh. theo's quietly miserable. i don't think he realized how many things could go wrong with this dia business until right now, when he has to realize. could be a very, very long time before he sees blaise again, if Something happens. sigh. and dia just wants out. mm, wild thing.

I know Dia wants out. well, no fucking wonder. Blaise intends to get him out. Dia can't hurt him, that spell is still in place - that isn't to say Dia can't do a million other terrible things, but Blaise is willing to take that chance. See, this right there is exactly his flaw, in relation to being an Unspeakable. Emotional ties trump concerns for world safety.

Time is fucked up. Also, whaaaat am I supposed to do with Tami. Just what.

...what you said. and i'm not sure how the spell works, exactly. just that they can't hurt one another. I thought bale probably knew. blaise will not say anything directly, but once he is inside, he'll ask him to leave. that ought to be hint enough. i think he knows dia will try. have at, he can take it.

sigh. just sigh. it's a shame her and theo don't really do the sex thing, they could comfort one another (no, blaise wouldn't mind. not with her.).

mm, bale will go directly to gwydion then. to apologize. and even though dia's aware of the spell, he's been in there for such a long time. he needs to take it out somehow. and this is the first time, in all that time, that blaise shows his face. he's entitled to a little physical rage. and he knows blaise can take it, but thats not on his mind right now. not even close. agh, just the sight of blaise has his blood boiling. and at the same time there's this utterly childish sense of relief (its his brother), and that just pisses him off even more.

they do the physical closeness thing, which i suppose could be a source of comfort as well. but there's no momentary oblivion, no. sigh. and i know he wouldnt. <3 its. well. its tami.

esh. you know, gwydion does't get angry that often, but this doesn't please him at all. he recognises he holds part of the responsibillity, for letting blaise go to russia in the first place. but now the situation is out of control, and given the power levels involved it's going to be /very/ difficult to contain. and unlike what blaise seems to think, it reaches far beyond his selfish concerns about family. hm. cue 5ish drawing back to just. think. how the hell do i solve this.

like i said, bring it on. he won't hear a word blaise says before he's gotten some of the reaction out anyway.

diavan is still thinking of the bigger picture, unlike blaise. he has been all this time, though its been getting harder and harder with every day. this situation really just shows he is so not a one. but his life has certainly strenghtened his one line beyond the breaking point. like gwydion says, it reaches far beyond blaise's motivations. and diavan is much too aware of that to be considered a safe bet. i get blaise, i do. but i also really get gwydion.

and bale is... agh. sorry doesnt cut it. he fucked up. on a major scale. this is going to be another hard period for him. just doesnt end.

theo is there for tami, he is. <3

worstcase scenario; diavan catches blaise and brings him back to donovan. blaise is bad with mind, and donovan is a master. blaise knows almost everything there is to know about the british unspeakables, and much else besides. unlike a normal mission, he isn't thinking clearly because he is emotionally involved. even if donovan couldn't turn blaise willingly to their side, which granted is extremely unlikely, he would still have all his knowledge, and diavan, who is as strong as blaise, to strike out against the unspeakables.
gwydion knows something of donovan's plans. not as much as he needs to but enough to know that this must not happen.

cass hates us. i'm just saying.

and she is there for him. quiet times.

mm, yes, i had the same worst case scenario in mind. blaise himself is very valuable, but his knowledge will do. and diavan knows that, a little too well. and he's very good at convincing himself that blood ties mean nothing. his own mother seems to agree with this, so why should he feel any different. of course thats not all there is to it. there's a place within dia that aches for family. but he resents that part, more than anything else.

cass... has more than one reason to hate us.

blaise is only valuable insofar as his power and skill can be used; if he wil not do that willingly or with coercion, his knowledge will do. blaise is too strong to break without also ruining most of his potential.
as for silene. she's been just watching the byplay with mild interest so far. however. if donovan decides to mindfuck her son, she is going to intervene (how would she know? gwydion would tell her. it's a desperate last resort, but it is one). blaise belongs to her. him playing donovan's soldier for a while is all very fine and well; in theory she approves of the cause. but her patience ends right where donovan decides to do irreperable damage. she didn't raise blaise to have him be ruined in some game of kings that isn't her own. donovan has diavan. if he wants more, he will have to pay, and right now there isn't a price she is willing to accept for blaise.
