I know he’s evil, but you should see him naked! [fictional crushes]

The casting call spectacle and following IM discussions on various characters has reminded me of the phenomenon of fictional crushes. I think everyone who hangs out in fandom is familiar with the idea; the character in a book or movie or even fanfic that you just love and want to know better (in the case of roleplayers, often want to play). I used ( Read more... )

still a dork, antihero!, scorpio 4s ftfw, casting call madness, fictional crushes, why do they let me talk

mmmmyour music. Also, yes. Autumn hangs in the air, alot, alot.

and he is put through unreasonable amounts of suffering

This is all I wish to put in italics for now. There's more up there I was amused at, or that made me smile in affection, but for now, the suffering will do.

And yes; a rather fine time. Gah, Brian.

... turtles, goddamn. XD

shut your face. XD I am not ashamed of my fourness. Though, if I'd been my grandfather, I might have been a bit disturbed at the morbidity.

Hey. HEY. turtles for the WIN.

I'm not ashamed of your fourness, either. I tend to cheeeerish it. Apparenly 9's find it brings spice to their life. NEVER LEAVE ME, MY PEPPER.

He who writes in blood and aphorisms does not want to be read, he wants to be learned by heart.

I'm sorry, I see them everywhere. Rae feels... different. More than I suspected. He's still him, but. Something got added. Something more. Deeper.

Blaise, perhaps. The first few moments, days, after the binding, it's going to be like watching through twin sets of eyes; everything feels heavier, somehow.hh <--- courtesy of your kitten. XD

I love that quote, but I can't remember where it's from.

I wonder what they actually did. They must have invoked something. They probably don't even know.

Nietzsche. ♥

I could investigate blood magic this fine, fine evening, see what comes up and what we could use. Because yes, they must have.

Oh, man. Your kitten was being Moody and so I tried to cheer him up, and we ended up doing keyboard smashing in Wordpad and cracking up (we do that, don't ask), and now my comma key is broken. XD

Oh, improvisation is fine. I played MAGE for ten years, I can come up with a thing or two. <3

He tends to enforce a certain entropy effect on his sorroundings.

Sigh.

That was difficult, but necessary. This is close to her having to be admitted to St. Mungo's, of course.

WHICH I HAS A SONG FOR, rofl rofl, I can find character associations anywhere, I swear. It's a very neat song as well, so really. And the lyrics. It's from Ghislaine's pov, obviously... if she had one. >>

You are never too old for fictional crushes.

Bran and Spike are the only ones of ours that overlap. You're right, Spike is mandatory.

I suspect not, seeing as my mom still kind of has one on Mulder. I gotta give her that song. XD

Spike is so totally mandatory. Can you even be in fandom and not have had a fictional crush on Spike. And I figured. We don't quite have the same taste. <3

Hahah. I hadn't listened to it in ages before that meme.

Well, let's be fair, I don't know most of the others, so, can't judge.

When Blaise wakes, it is to late morning sun slanting in through the window and the feeling of a warm body pressed up against his side. It takes a moment, but he finally opens his eyes; Theo is still sleeping, dark lashes casting semicircles of shadow on his pale cheeks and hair sleep-mussed, more unruly than usual. His head rests against Blaise's shoulder, and he has an arm draped around his waist; the ghost of a smile curves Blaise's lips, and his fingers thread into Theo's hair. It curls around them like a living thing, and Theo's lashes flutter. Waking, slowly ( ... )

What a lovely thing to wake up to on an otherwise entirely sucky day.

Did I tell you I always do Blaise wake-up scenes with sunlight or is that a lucky guess? ♥ Aren't they lovely. This is my favourite of the verses we have played.

I think I was just going off knowing he's very much Not A Morning Person, but idk, you might've told me. And hey, if my random attempts to scribble stuff down to get it out of my head brightens your day, all the better ( ... )

On the rare occasions when I write Scenes, it's very often waking up somewhere with sunlight. <3 And I'm loving all over these drabbles, kdjfdhkx.

Beautiful, beautiful image. The catch in his breath is just, just right. Small gestures come to mean so much.
