I'm back!!! Sleep deprived and a bit overwhelmed, but mostly pleased. So yay for that. My overall impression is that we tossed a pebble into the festival pool and it made a decent splash... but it's really all about the ripples that will spread over the next several months

THANK YOU! As to the text that would normally be my job... but this piece is 99% visual... with some really hot, hot, HOT editing by FlamingoKing holding it all together! (DAMN it looked good on the big screen!) Of course, I'm making up for it with press releases, Tempest Newsletter (you can subscribe at the site) and working on a new promo idea for the SXSW submission. Whee!

I'll let you know if I hit the wall. Could often use another set of eyes to make sure it makes sense in a world that's not my own. And cheerleading is always welcome!

Thanks!!! The more I think on this, I don't need fame or fortune. I just want to do what I love and be able to support a nice life (including the periodic great party for the "real" friends from back in the day, of course)!!!

Yay!!! Glad to hear it went so well! I forgot to recommend you to Dressel's (Welsh) Pub in the Central West End while you were there. Damn. ;)

Well poo! Welsh pub sounds fabboo! Will have to make note for next time. I think we'll be invited back one the other works in production are wrapped so WOOT!

We stayed near the Galleria and did hit U City a couple times (Blueberry Hill was cute) but didn't get too adventurous beyond that.

Thanks sugar-pie! I am really excited - and all too ready to bolt out of Corporate America. I enjoy my job but it's not a life's passion... and I'm tired of working for someone else's dream. Now that Tempest is making tangible progress, I'm getting antsy. (FlamingoKing & I jokingly said we'd turn in our two year notice when we got back. ::grins::)
