"Prison Break" - aaaaaaugh! Started watching for the Guilty Pleasure Factor (a.k.a. high slash fodder potential), but it has surprised me with a lot of fun twists. Am a bit intrigued by the X-Files level conspiracy theories, too. Season finale was quite satisfactory and cliff-hangery.

They concluded the series "Rome"? Damn. Did it go 2 seasons or 3?

Since I am limited to DVD viewing, I just finished episode 5 of Season 1, and am looking forward to the rest.

I assume that it ends around the Ides of March, though I would have loved for it to follow through to Octavian's war with Marc Anthony.

Well, here's to hoping the rumors of a series on the Song of Ice & Fire are true.

arbiter_of_cool got me the DVD for my birthday, but we haven't had time to explore the extras together yet. That should prove interesting.

They stopped after 2, though for some time it wasn't certain if there would even be a Season 2. It was critically acclaimed, but production costs were just too high. Your assumptions are right, and I think you will be pleased with what follows.

The rumor is true! Georgie-baby had a link to the Variety article confirming it on his Web site. This pleases me immensely, as HBO is clearly not scared of epic stories, bent sex, or the brutality inherent in the tale.

You will love it. SciFi is airing the episodes that Discovery has already shown, so you should be able to get caught up on all the splendor. :-)
