Next weekend I'm heading home to Michigan for a family reunion. My birthmother is getting everyone together on what would have been my grandmother's 95th birthday. not quite the same as you meant and well, it confused me a bit till my brain shifted into gear because, well, Clue is NY and Cobweb is in DFW and why would you want them to meet you in Atlanta for 2hr & 41min???

Wow, that's a brain cramp and a half! But need I remind you that 2/3 of ATL (the group, not the city) got to Ft. Worth from Denton by way of Oklahoma City?!?

2h41m in the Atlanta airport is NOT a lot of time lol. Why can't you lay over for like...6 hours HAHA. Security won't let people not flying near the gates at all. You have to have a ticket. I think there's a plethora of little fiddly food places outside of the terminals though.

I'd love to meet up, but seriously, we'd scarf down a sandwich and you'd have to RUN. It takes about 15 minutes to deplane, you'd have to make your way ALLLLL the way outside of the security area (which equals riding the little train), find people, eat or chat, then save enough time to go back through security (which is a pain), and to your terminal (train again) and gate in time to board.

Unfortunately your friend is right; getting trhrough the gates/security to actually have lunch with you would be a serious headache, more so for you than me. one day though, hon... ^^

speaking of birth parents, as it gets closer to A day, i want mroe information on the subject.

someday i'd like to bend your ear on how you feel about it all. an adult adopted child's perspective would be something i'd really like to hear.
