Ssssssshhhhhhhsshhhhkkh...hhhsssshhhhhkkkkkk....kkkkk...

[ † ] Short currents of electricity flowed through what looks to be a commlink abandoned near the northeast corner of the marshall apartments, a series of flickering images playing on the split screen. Alexander Anderson's face can be seen briefly in the midst of the transmission, and he's saying something, though what he mouths is a little hard to make out. Listening to the feed can only bring a long loop of static, though hidden in the frequency there is one word that could've been discerned if the playback wasn't so garbled. [ † ]

.....Ma...x....we....ll...

[ † ] Anything else is swallowed up in blackness, for all around the device the ruins of the Marshall building was shifting and continuing to cave in, the sheer pressure causing flurries of dust to stir up from the apartments folding in on themselves. Yet still the distant roar of Spawn roaming the city can be distinguished over the crunch of demolished stone, the feed capturing a pair of broken spectacles flecked with dried specs of blood lying in the dirt before cutting out entirely. [ † ]

.........Ss.....sss..........Ssssssaaassssaaaaaasssssssssssshhhhhhhssss....

[ † ] 'Click'. A constant beep keeps the communication link open for several minutes before the frequency drops altogether, seemingly erased from the network. [  † ]

[ ooc: All that can be found of the priest is his commlink and his glasses, the man himself having vanished without a trace. His disappearance will be noted on this entry. Abel Nightroad will be finding the "remains". Those on the network can respond accordingly, and even speculate that this was his death, if they like.]
