A meeting of Meetings

Myra sat in her 'new' apartment, listening to the radio and smelling the coffee brewing. This evening was a coffee evening. The Shadow was due for a stop over to discuss the events of her visit to the warehouses. She wondered if she'd hear about the brief escapade with Chaz, but let the wondering wander into nothingness as she relaxed to the ( Read more... )

While he is not quite up to the work of battling crime firsthand, The Shadow has been making a brief foray in black cloak just to get his hand back in. He's been restless to the point of distraction, and the evening seems a good excuse to get out of the apartment. Thus he PINpoints into Myra's new place in suit and cloak, tugging the scarf down. It's been a bit warm for the outfit, but that's a difficulty every summer. He glances about the apartment, as this is his first time seeing it, and removes his hat. "Hm. Not bad." He trusts his alternate to provide for his agents as well as he does.

"It's home." Myra shrugs with a slight smile, standing up and walking over to the stove. It's good to see him back in cloak and hat. "Coffee?"

"Hm. New York is home. I've never been picky about where I am inside it." He leaves the scarf hanging loose, and removes his gloves. There is only a short cloak over the suit, tonight, just enough to conceal the guns in their holsters. This is the lightest version of his working clothes there is, but it is still stifling on a July evening. "Yes, thank you. How's your luck, usually?"

Myra pours two cups, and holds it out to The Shadow. There's a comfortable chair drawn up next to the coffee table, it should fit his taller form better than the lower couch, unless he chooses to sit there. Myra's not concerned about where he sits. She stands at the end of the table, waiting for him to choose, and then she'll take whichever is left open.

"My luck?" She looks a little uncertain. "It's not too bad. I have moments where it's not great, but I think that happens to most everyone. Why?"
