booking a campsite is hella tarded.  the DNR website had ONE remaining available campsite listed at point beach so i tried to reserve it, but by the time i finished the online booking process the campsite was gone.  then i tried devil's lake, which also had only one site left, and the same thing happened, so i tried peninsula state park and it ( Read more... )

funny story about booking point beach....i too wanted to book a campsite for this weekend, but then they were full, all the sudden. so this weekend i'm camping at penninsula state park as well, at the last campsite they had. LOL.

HAHA you may have gotten the one that i tried to get...next time i go camping i'm gonna do it the hardcore way, just walk out into a random forest and pick a spot. no reservations, no booking fees, no ordinances...but probably wolves. and if i know the wolf...he's not one for ordinances.
