ha this is a great idea...how white are you? i think even the most radical of us have to admit that some, if not a lot, of the entries apply. it's the lure of "white hegemony." or maybe that's just me.

White hegemony. A part of that white hegemony is that white people get to not only define what's cool and what's the best but really do end up taking the proverbial best cut of the steak.

In total agreement. I think most people reading this blog are aware of that. It's written by hipsters, at least one of whom resides in the other gentrifying arty, hipster neighborhood in LA: Culver City.

i think it's funny, but then i get in a mental gymnastics about whether the people who wrote the entries get it in the same way i "get it." i know from the comments a lot of the white folks who "get it" don't REALLY "get it."

then i think that internal conflicts that require quotation marks and unusual capitalization to explain are probably taking away from my time being productive.
