Hi! :) I saw you've volunteered to do the artwork for my Firefly/SG-1, scifibigbang piece. Thank you! I'm looking forward to it. :D Just to update you on how I'm going with it, I've only just hit 1,100 words (and am set on spending the next few hours trying to get a decent word count up). Characters that will be focused on are Mal on the Firefly side of things and probably Sam for SG-1. I say probably there because I'm yet to introduce SG-1 into the story. Am aiming to get that done tonight and I'll have to see how things want to be written. Anyway. If you have any questions you want to ask me, feel free to. Thanks again! -Meredith

Thanks so much for the status update! Might I ask which season of SG-1 you're writing? That way I know if I should be putting Cam and...whatsherface...Vala(?) in it (unfortunately my SG1-knowledge consists of a few random episodes and whatever coincided with the first 3 seasons of SGA).
You don't have to keep me updated on the progress of your story, I'm sure it's time you would rather spend doing more important things, but if you have any major plot details (like, the entire story takes place on Serenity, or one of the SG-1 members randomly got turned into a frog, or IDK things that might be relevant for the art) I would appreciate being kept up to date on that.

It's the early seasons of SG-1 that I'm writing - Jack, Sam, Daniel and Teal'c. There's also a mention of Janet. Not sure yet but she may make an appearance later.
Indeed lol. I meant update more so as on the storyline as now that I've gotten to the stage I'm at I'm writing blind and am not 100% sure where it's going.
Plot outline:
Firefly crew are finishing a job when attacked by a ship: a goa'uld ship. They are saved by another ship they've never seen before, belonging to the Stargate program. Both of those ships fire upon one another and they are destroyed. However, SG-1 has taken a puddle jumper and they contact Serenity and Mal invites them aboard for their people saving them.
So far that's about it. Not sure if there'll be anything more that'd be helpful towards the art or not. If I think of anything I'll let you know but yes.. I have no title for it yet either.
