I know it isn't the same. But it's not a bad thing, is it? ;)

That's a sucky allergy to have. Even in baked goods??

Thank goodness no unless it's in huge quantities (like beloved angelfood cake *pout*) - high heat breaks down the albumin. I love meringue and I can't touch the stuff anymore!

I'm always a little soft boiled! dwheat June 3 2010, 20:12:00 UTC
Try your local dollar store. Soft boiled eggs are a little more common up here in Canada, but I see egg cups all the time here at Dollarama. Most are boring and basic white, but they do the trick and are within my price range. Be sure to get your little egg spoons too!

But I already have mine on order :) It's so much more fun this way! Now I get to look for them everyday in my mailbox!

Were you on LJ before, or did you just join pour moi?

Oh yes they did, they are lovely!! I mostly just keep them on display in the window over my kitchen sink, but I have used two of them. I should take pictures and share...

One thing that puzzles me is they are two-sided... one big side and one smaller side (for chicken eggs). What do they put in the big side? Goose eggs??
