I have a 93 Honda that had this problem once. I ended up at the dealership and it ran me about $70 to get everything lined up again.

I'm sorry I can't help you, but I just wanted to say I love your icon!

Some jackass kid broke the window of my car one time and I replaced it myself. Only took a screwdriver. It wasn't the best job ever but it was free and quite the adventure. No clue on where you could take it, but I'd try to do it myself first. If you screw up then just take it in like you were planning. They're not going to charge you extra to fix what you already started... they'll just laugh at you a bit, but if it works you save yourself some money! :)

And yes. Major icon love!

We tried to fix it today and I'm afraid that if I try any further than I have, I'll end up just breaking the glass, and that'll cost a few hundred bucks I don't have :/

I'm gonna have to suck it up and head to the dealer on Tuesday, methinks.

Yeah. And in my case I did have a friend who owned a repair shop (he's since sold it otherwise I'd send you there) helping me. But I totally did it all myself, he just told me how... it was thrilling. And even though it never quite rolled up the same as it did before it was still on there and still worked! :)
