Hello all! My name is Maria. I moved here to San Diego two weeks ago. Im in the Spring Valley area. I love it here. I've been looking for a job like crazy. I hope I find one soon. I gots to pay rent! lol. Anyway, just wanted to say hi to all the San Diegans. So what can i do for fun for free for now? I had just enough money to get a month bus pass

Welcome. Well, the Balboa park is always a fun place to go for free. I'm in El Cajon. Hope you can find a job soon. You can friend me if you want. San Diego is an awesome place to live.

hey, how are you? well, my name is miguel and i live out in spring valley too, and i work in point loma. like the guy above me said, balboa park is fun to go to. they have a free trolley thing that goes around the park, and on certain days the museums are free too.

The library downtown has a free film series. The beach is free, as well as Balboa Park. The museums rotate free days, and the Timken is always free. El Cajon has free Friday night concerts throughout the summer (and free movies in Sept-Nov) & on Wednesdays sponsors a classic cruise. Check out the Reader, they always list tons of events.

Also, it is really hard to get around San Diego via public transit. It's doable, just not fun sometimes. I did it for 7 years before it became too much for me. Enjoy the city!
