Tick tick tick. Where is all my time going? I never get to read LJ anymore! Nor post. I've only had time to catch up on a few people's journals; everyone else is going to remain unread--sorry. This entry is just to let y'all know roughly what's been happening, and is going to be rather hurried

Thanks for the suggestions and the links! Yes, I've been working with different people. I like your ideas for finding things to do that don't require pairing up. What is a "spike solution"?

I may be able to steal some time away to work on stuff by myself. Actual privacy is definitely going to be unavailable. The day after tomorrow, they're rearranging our cubicles. We're going to be in half-high cubes--short enough that you can easily see each other--and seated in pairs. We'll each have our own computer, but share phones.

Congrats on the anniversary with Zaratyst! Also congrats on the new job!

FYI, many changes for me in just the last couple of days! I was given a house, my huge hospital bill debt was cleared, and I was invited to speak at a big convention. :) And still, I worry about things. Everything is going too well. Know what I mean?

Wow! Congratulations on getting a house! OK, I must find time in my schedule to at least catch up on your recent journal entries. :) I know what you mean about things going too well. I sometimes marvel that my luck seems to be holding... and holding. Seems like it can't last indefinitely. But maybe if I keep shouting "Thank you, God[s]/Goddess[es]!" to the sky, he/she/they will decide not to taketh away. :)
