Hurricane preparation

I prepared for the big hurricane by watching Gone With the Wind.  I had never seen it before and was surprised that it was rather different from what I had assumed it to be.

What were you expecting?

I was expecting a failed cortship, not Rhett and Scarlett getting marriedd and having a child. I also did not expect so much of it to be set after the civil war.

I had a very similar experience years ago (Gone With The Wind, not hurricanes). I read the book expecting a romance and found that it was so much more. I even tricked John into reading it, and he enjoyed it very much. Basically, it's a war story from the point of view of the women who stay behind. I really love it.
