Late episode review - 4.19

I had a play by play, but I'm not going to post it.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. This one was just painful to watch. I have no idea if I liked it or not- it was that painful.
That is to say - I hated the idea. Delivery aside, I really really hated that they went there.

I watched the episode again yesterday - Sam actually says 1990 both times, although Jared really garbled it. (Damn that Texas drawl.) The first time, he says, "Born September 29, 1990 to Kate Milligan..." The "1990" and the "to" are all run in together so it sounds like he's saying "1992."

Sorry the episode upset you so much. :(

Oh. Well, that could explain that.

And it's not that I didn't enjoy the episode - it was well written and well played - I just wish they hadn't gone with the 'secret brother' idea. And really, it's time they give Dean a little break, don't you think?

BTW, have I mentioned how great it is to see you post again? *hugs*

In fact, my own personal canon ignores it. In my personal canon, John and this woman just clicked when they met back in the 90s, and yeah, possibly had some fun together. Or maybe she was already pregnant back then. Whichever the case, he felt for her story and left her his number, said she could call him anytime for any reason. Maybe the kid's father was killed by a supernatural thing, I don't care. It wasn't John I like your idea! *nods*
