Hi guys,

I'm starting to watch the season again - hence the thinky thoughts.
I watched Lazarous Rising and On the Head of a Pin, and some things.... made me think (Yes, ok, eyeroll away).

( Yes, here be talk about 4.01 and 4.16, so if you hadn't seen it yet, look away. )

rising Lazarus had to be one of my all time fav episode i just freaking adore it! though i do have an unhealthy addiction to wendigo for some reason hehe

I know why. It's that dirty dirty grin on Dean's face when that girl asks him if he has to ruin the moment. *sigh*
I miss s1 Dean. Hell, I miss s2 Dean, too (but not as much)

That's an interesting thought. Though, I gotta wonder why Alistair seemed to want Dean to get together with the rest of himself if that's what he was referring to. I think he specifically said something like, "Get the two of you back together again," and he sounded like he liked the idea quite a bit.

ETA: But then I"m pessimistic, because I really hate either of the boys having powers at all.

I don't think it'll be some sort of speshul power. I just think Sam's right. Part of Dean didn't make it out of Hell.
Hey, maybe that's why he's all wooby and fragile and broken.
On the other hand, it would be awesome to see the Touch and Go Baby from Heroes touch Dean. Hee!

Alot of people have said/complained that Dean wasn't scary when he tortured Alistair. I agree, but I don't think he was meant to be scary -- he was DEAD. Dead eyes, dead soul, dead inside.

I thought him to be cold and unfeeling. Scary, no ----- but his eyes were like a sharks -- dead -- no emotion showing.

I think that sums up Dean right now -- there's just nothing left. You can only dump so much on one person.

Could be, though I didn't get that impression.
I so want Dean to break a-la Buffy, but since there was 4.17 (which totally didn't happen), I don't suppose I'm gonna get my wish. *sigh*

There's a lot of speculation going around that Dean is a fallen angel (a la Anna), and I've gotta say, I'm leaning more toward that explanation than "Dean left part of himself in Hell." There's so much focus on *balance* in the story that I'm figuring, if Sam goes Bad, Dean's going Good. (As in, getting his grace back.)

I could be completely off target on that, but it's what's been on my mind.
