Minor correction: the book is Green Eggs and Ham and the character is Sam-I-am.
This was cute - I liked the interaction between Dean and John, especially, and it's great to see a moment that isn't so idyllic in the Winchester household. I know Dean's little and grown-up arguments don't make sense, but I do wish we as the audience had been given enough clues to figure out what they were arguing about.... Unless I'm just dense?
Oops... Ok, I admit, I never read the story, so... uh... oops... *is blushing* About the fight - it was important to me NOT to show what they were fighting about. I imagine it was probably something stupid, like leaving the toilet seat up or working too long, or spending too much money on the car or whatever. Just to show that things weren't perfect before, that they had fights like everyone else.
