You know what, I refuse to believe it. Sam was 8, and didn't really know what his Daddy was doing. He had his suspicions after reading the journal, but he didn't KNOW. I think he turned to Uncle Bobby cuz he couldn't afford it. I think he might have seen it in a pawn shop or something, and needed the money. As far as I'm concerened, the necklace part of the story is over. I refuse to set myself up for another disappointment, cuz that was a ginormous one. You can also say that (Dean's a big girl) Dean has such a big heart and loves his family so much, he maybe wore it to make Sam feel better or whatnot. I don't care. I just have to get the image of Dean in pigtails and glitter out of my head... hee.
Ya know, I'm gonna have to watch the episode again, cuz I'm not 100% what Sam said exactly - if he got if from Uncle Bobby or something else. It was a nice brotherly scene. But I'm not holding my breath for the necklace to be anything more than a brotherly thing.
