*hugs* I've found my equilibrium by following ficwriter1966's advise - SPN ended at the end of Season Five. Dean went back to Lisa and there was no one standing under that streetlight.

Is it a happy ending? No, because he has a load of grief to work through - but he is strong enough to work through it. (Sort of like me).

That and I'm falling in love with Matt Bomer of White Collar.

It's all right if you can't find it to stay.

I like to think 6.01 is the real end of Show, cuz then Sam came back, and Dean still chose to stay "normal". But yeah. It ended there for me.

I can't seem to be able to write hurt!Dean anymore, cuz I just don't think he deserves it. If he were an animal, I'd've put him out of his misery by now...

And I'm just waiting for Fringe to put Joshua Jackson back in his rightful place as the center of the show ;)

Well, I'd say there's LOTS of things on LJ that have nothing to do with SPN or even fandom, but I'll be honest, because I'm pretty much in the same boat. Haven't had any squee for SPN since the beginning of season 5. Swan Song destroyed anything I ever liked about it, not that most of it wasn't already trashed leading up to to it. And as someone who doesn't even read fic to begin with, I find myself scrolling past 80% of my own flist without reading. Yet, as I said to another friend, more than half the tabs I have permanently open are SPN comms, so removing myself completely is like cutting off a limb. But if all it brings is grief, why stay?

Y'know, you can always blog about other things, and your friends will still read that. Sure, if they don't relate, the might not comment much, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't write it down anyway.

Whatever you decide, love. I'm looking into other things myself.

And thank you for the cookies! nomnomnom. I always forget to post and thank people. :/

I know there are other things on lj other than SPN, but... I dunno. Nothing like fandom in its glory days.
Tried a few other fandoms, but it just wasn't the same, and there are no other shows I'm invested in as much as I used to be in SPN.

I don't really like posting about my private life. Too paranoid, I guess.

Hope you liked the cookies ;)

I´m sorry that you feel this way sweetheart, but it is your choice..as I have used my lj for other purposes like mostly personal stuff, I don´t know how it is for you.
Just remember one thing; I really care about you and I will miss you♥
♥Love you♥

Wow! I really do stand alone :(
Not only do I not write slash and remain attached to my gen-writer origins, but my SPN squee! is now bigger than ever, mainly because we've entered a strange new world filled with new and better possibilities.
But hey! it was impossible for it to please everyone and if you really feel like that, I think you should do what's best for you.
After all, no matter what you decide, you can always change your mind later ;)

Not totally alone - I'm with you - I love not knowing where it will go and having all those possibilities out there...

Yeah, there are many possibilities, I guess. But the storyline is just... I dunno. I used to be on pins and needles on SPN day.
Now the only reason I want to watch it quickly is that there are too many spoilers around. It's not a good enough reason, is it?

A gen writer! \0/ A dying breed indeed.

I agree that there are many possiblities and places to explore SPN-wise. I just don't CARE anymore. I care more about Glee than I do about SPN, and that's just wrong. Especially since I think the plot of Glee is written for 12 year olds.

But you're right. I'm not deleting this journal (yet), so I could always choose to come back. And I am going to lurk as I have been for the past couple of weeks.

*sighs*

I miss my squee. =(
