C of E Bishop recommends book supporting marital rape, accusing Queen of breaking Coronation Oath

A Church of England Bishop has written a recommendation for a book supporting the legalisation of marital rape and accusing the Queen of breaking her Coronation Oath.

Thanks very much for drawing Wallace Benn's endorsement of Green's booklet to my attention. It's not surprising that Stephen Green has these ideas, but it's alarming that they should be greeted like this by a Church of England bishop.

Surely be to God this loony should be dis-invited to D & D following his endorsement of Green's book?

I intend to write to the Bishop and would encourage others to do so.

I am a member of a fairly conservative evangelical parish in Down & Dromore and am sickened by the strangle-hold of evangelicalism. I had come to Anglicanism seeking a gentle, tolerant "thinking" faith (as I had experienced within the Scottish Episcopal Church) and find myself in the opposite.

What is to be done? And when will the ABA "come out" as a supporter of the ordination of "practising" homosexuals?
