We've just had a similar problem. Sadly, our solution is beyond your reach.

My solution is, fortunately, called my father, but I decided ringing him after midnight placed excessive strain on paternal-filial relations. I actually tried getting it going myself, and may have succeeded, but we shall see later.

And also, if I did need a plumber, it wouldn't cost 85 bloody quid over here, although it's catching up fast.
