No, I didn't make this one up.

"A woman has appeared in court accused of marrying another woman in a lesbian civil partnership ceremony while still being married to a man."

I wonder will this make it into the Shropshire Star.

So, partnerships do have full legal standing then, and get described as marriage. Good good.

Think the bigamy law needs a lot of reform, most seem happy with the idea of one partner at once, but it's only the dishonesty that gets to me. Maybe I know too many people in non-standard relationships.
