What & Who I loved in 2009 ...
MOVIE LOVES:
Meryl Streep: my idol -- the funniest, talented, gorgeous, awesome, sunny, ridiculous, crazy, magnetic person on earth. I can talk for hours and hours, so I better stop here...
Tina Fey: I 'discovered' her through 30 Rock and immediately fell in love with her -- she is a genius.
Alec Baldwin: Alec is the reason I started to watch 30 Rock because he plays in Meryl's new movie -- It's Complicated --and I wanted to see why people loved the show so much.
Johnny Depp: My friends think I'm crazy for thinking that Johnny is hotter than Brad Pitt but I can't help it -- look at him, he's just WOW.
Emily Blunt: She's beautiful, talented, sweet -- thanks to The Devil wears Prada I fell in love with her and watched more of her movies -- Emily is awesome.
Amanda Seyfried: Isn't she the cutest face you ever saw? So sweet and delicate but has such an amazing voice. She is going to be big some day.
Anne Hathaway: The Princess Diaries opened me up to her -- at first I thought she was just one of those actresses who get roles for their good looks -- nope, Anne is good -- Rachel getting married earned her an Oscar nomination and she deserved it.
Megan Fox: I hadn't really heard of her till my best friend went totally insane about her. I admit -- I haven't seen even one of her movies but I intend to do it in 2010 for sure. She's just so beautiful -- like she isn't real or something.
Emma Watson: The gorgeous, little Emma. Well not so little any more. I guess like many people I am a fan of the Harry Potter series and when I was little I spend hours dreaming that I can be Hermione. So later Emma who plays her became my favourite actress -- before I 'discovered' Meryl Streep. I can't wait to see her in other films.
Hugh Laurie: Hah, what can I say -- just one word -- HOUSE. Yes, I am obsessed with this character and I do adore him and Hugh is a great actor and person -- so yes, I am a fan.
Lisa Edelstein: Oh my God -- Huddy! Plus she's hot. And funny and smart and crazy -- I do love crazy people. Amazing.
Julie Walters & Christine Baranski: The Dymanos! Love, love, love them! I haven't seen many of their movies but it's another point on my To-Do-List for 2010.
Audrey Tautou: The actress who made me fall in love with movies ... After seeing Amelie I really started to appreciate the art of film. And of course Coco avant Chanel is pure brilliance.
Kelly Rutherford: The Gossip Girl series are awesome but I guess I'm all messed up because I don't really pay attention to the main characters. I was somehow drawn to Kelly from the beginning -- she is so sweet and charming.
MUSIC LOVES:
Beyonce: A great performer and person. I love her voice and have been a fan since I first heard one of Destiny's Child's songs.
Lady GaGa: This was a surprise to me. When I saw her first video clip I was not thrilled. Then I stopped watching and started listening and since then I cannot get her songs out of my system. She sure is more crazy than the rest but that isn't a bad thing.
Tina Turner: I didn't even know I know most of her songs till a couple of days ago when I saw one of her concerts. This woman is amazing -- so much energy and her performances give you so much positive emotions. I can only dream to be so fit and energetic at her age. Just listen to Proud Mary -- it's contagious
Shakira: She was my first favourite singer. Ever. I adore her since the age of 7. I admit I hadn't thought of her till I heard her new album -- She Wolf -- so now my fandom is renewed.
Rihanna: I know many people say she'll be famous a little bit and then no one will hear of her. But I love her music and hope that she'll have a long career. Rihanna rocks.
P!nk: Crazy. Cool. Awesome -- she is just P!nk. I can't really explain why I love her -- I just do.
ABBA: Do I have to say anything at all? Mamma Mia! is the reason to love them. Of course I knew many of their songs but after the movie I became a fan. They sure are worth the attention.
Vanessa Mae: Maybe only a few people know about her but I am so thankful to my mum who literally dragged me to one of her concerts and so I learned to appreciate classical music. She really has a gift and I hope that she'll come in my country again
Alicia Keys: One of the most talented singers I know about!
Britney Spears: I don't care about her personal life -- her songs are cool and I love them.
Nelly Furtado: Lovely woman. I love her voice and her songs. I never get bored listening to her music.
The Black Eyed Peas: The right band to dance to and to throw a party with their music. You cannot sit on one place if you hear them.
The Pussycat Dolls: I can say the same about them -- great music & who can resist to their video clips?
Leona Lewis & Jordin Sparks: Two young singers with amazing voices! I am so glad I discovered them. They are both gorgeous.
No Angels: When I was in Germany 6 years ago everyone was crazy about them but I didn't really care. Two years ago one of them was a jury in the Bulgarian Music Idol -- I didn't even know she was Bulgarian since it is a German pop group. So I became a fan and really love their songs.
