Oh the litle slipper. I was really doing fine until I read that part -- that was unbearably sad. Poor Weatherby and poor Eliza. It makes so much sense that Weatherby would not acknowledge the change coming over his wife, he has that way about him, of looking only at the good and not seeing all of reality. And he is just the sort of man who would embrace the newborn and be filled with love for her.

Nice details in this -- hurting herself with the shards from the vases she's breaking, the needle attack, the private physician. It would be quite a scandal, wouldn't it?

Such a heartbreaking decision you've left to Weatherby and yet, I'm glad he doesn't come off as a villian for making the choice he makes. Very understandable.

You need to write one now with Elizabeth slowly cracking from the strain of losing Will. Madness can be genetic, right?

Nice job on this one.

I'm so glad you liked, but I'm sorry I got you with the slipper *g* I thought it would be a good use of the prompt, no?

I'm really glad it worked for you. And, yes, they say madness can be hereditary, so who knows what will happen to our little Elizabeth?

Thanks for reading and your wonderful comment!
