they're probably just smiling at each other ooc-like during the song like how quinn and rachel sometimes hold hands during performances but still hate each other in canon

yeah i'd prefer rachel too

but i guess if sam and quinn start to become friends then that might be one of the things that fuels finn's suspicions that quinn is cheating on him with sam
