jumbled recollection

I spent some time last night with a couple of iraq veterans. I hadn't really been out on the town for months. People are people no matter how small - Horton.

The guys were very cool the whole evening. I really felt connected to them. K came over for a home cooked meal tonight. We shared a bottle of wine and confidences. We gazed at the moon and mars putting on a celestrial show. I feel really comfortable with him. He ships out in January for another tour.

That's the one. The pressure that warriors go through.. *sigh*
these two sound like they're good company - and should remain good people.

I do hope he comes back safe, sound and strong.
