I was just reading back through my friends' list and when I arrived here could just smell the sage. I have a purple sage on my allotment which is VERY enthusiastic! But it does smell wonderful when I have to cut it back.

I have mints that invade the fence line and smell delectable when the mower cuts them down.

Odors are very powerful memory triggers. It's amazing what images rise from my brain when I smell different herbs or anything really.
