I saw

Imagination is more powerful than Wii. Which, of course, is true.

I believe that Will is more powerful. For in Will we can make our imaginings come true. Without the will to Do, whatever we imagine remains just a dream or a memory.

Especially if we seek to live in the now, what we imagine loses that contest. Our will drives us, moves us. Our imagination inspires to that movement, that drive. While dreaming of a thing will set us on the path, focus (through willpower) will keep us on it.

Will gives form to imagination...

imagination is probably capable of a lot more than will...

but as to which is effective? I don't know.
and as to the "power" question - I guess it would depend on how that is interpreted.

I haven't had a lot of will for a while but am rebuilding now - but I've had no shortage of imagination. I would say that imagination brings itself out into my life a lot more.
I don't know if that's power or not.

I think you are very powerful - knowing that imagination and will both contribute to who you are.

Thank you :)

Your posts demonstrate balance, poise and imagination - and suggests a very strong will too. I think you are very powerful.

one thing i've continued to learn at the farm: you can push and push and push, but when something doesn't want to give, pushing won't make it. that's when imagination fills the gap; you find a different way to do it; rethink it from a completely new angle. on the farm, the way this usually manifests is that i fling myself at something the same way but harder several times, and then Jenny looks at it and says, why not do it this other way? and the moment she does, it's blindingly obvious that she's right, but up until she says it, it's totally invisible. yay for community!

I used to tackle problems the same way: work harder! work longer! Unfortunately, it still happens. I wish I could have enough mindfulness to stop before I expend energy in futility.
