If you know the London Underground, you will be well acquianted with the posters that line the escalators. Often people stick notes over these posters, mostly obscene or promotions for something. I LOVE LOVE LOVE those stickers being placed on those ads. My personal activism is to take down fliers and ads for weight loss or body enhancement drugs, for things like breast augmentation (non-medical) and liposuction...They are ALL OVER campus directed at all these young girls and it makes me sick. I just remove them.

Oh God, I've never seen any on my uni campus. That's terrible.

By the way, I've been meaning to thank you for friending me for a while now. I don't comment, I know, but I read all your entries with interest and it's very useful and insightful to have a women's studies expert on my f-list!

Oh, hate thouse posters
It really anoying how suddenly her hair looks better and her make up is nicer and she is smiling. Cos you know is you have small boobs your hair is weird and you don't smile.
