Not sure what I think about Valencia. I warmed to it a little but the race was just dull, combined Ferrari idiocy aside. Plus I was all excited for a street track but it didn't really have that feel. With 'no compromises', as JB puts it, it lost all the soul of racing through a town. idk. Nice to finally see a race after missing the last two, ( Read more... )

Hmmm, something weird is going on. I got an email from you yesterday asking if I got your last email (I didn't). I replied saying that earlier today? Our email accounts aren't friends anymore. :(

Nope, didn't get anything. :( Damn, it's yahoo again, we had this period of time with Margs when neither her nor mine e-mails came through... anyway, the original message went like this:

How are you? I'm back home, drinking tea and missing you. Writing to
a) ask if you have seen the last page of the Hamlet programme? OMG HOW COME WE MISSED THAT WHEN WE WERE LOOKING AT IT?

So because I haven't sent your programme to you yet *slaps wrists* I just snuck a peak and OMG OMG OMG, I had no idea they were doing another performance of that!!! I missed it first time ound and have been kicking myself ever since. OMG OMG MUST GO!!!!! SQUEEE!!!!!!

Problem with the Stratford photos is that I can't find my camera lead. :( Am going to have to get a CD made in a shop, which I will do next week sometime. :)

I flicked between the F1 and the Olympics closing ceremony, but what I saw of Valencia I wasn't totaly enthralled by. It will never have the same energy and awesomeness about it as Monaco does, but it seemed half-decent.

ALONSO SUCKS ASS. I CAN'T STAND THE BAS**RD. I wish they would just throw him out, or have him magically disappear rather like Montoya did XD I really, really despise Alonso.

It was nothing like Monaco. I just didn't get a vibe off it at all like I do with some tracks, nothing specific I could pinpoint though.

I've thawed out slightly to him recently, but I just don't want him on my team. I specifically don't want him as JB's teammate.

What the hell happened to Montoya? That was just weird!

Valencia isn't exactly meant to be Monaco, a modern day one perhaps but no its not Monaco, nor will it ever be. It doesn't have the same level of glamour or history, and frankly it doesn't look as difficult to drive ( ... )

I still haven't seen valencia (3 race withdrawal symptoms, I don't think I've EVER missed this many) but heard the headlines. What's this about Alonso and Honda?! Why? Why would this possibly happen? Surely he'd be happier sticking with Renault. I don't know why but I also think he wouldn't get on with Ross particularly well. Hopefully I'll get to see the race tomorrow, my last day of freedom before I hit rehearsals.
