Thanks to everyone for their warm wishes. Mum had a second operation on thursday, in which they got rid of 'loads' of clots and a lot of 'muck' (These were the surgeons technical terms). She's feeling weak and sore from the ops, but otherwise appears to be on the mend - she managed to find several various ways to complain to the staff yesterday ( Read more... )

I love you... *tight hugs*

Was thinking of you today...

So glad your mum is feeling better. Yeah, surgeons tend to bumb things down a little *too* much at times... maybe they didn't want to talk about scar tissue or whatevs...

It's all part of life's grand plan to land you in your ideal job hon; you'll see! :)

OMG just 2 weeks? *squees for you*

What date do you get back again? I'll have to organise my arrival plans with you via text, since they're liable to change wildly... as it stands, I'm set to land in Stansted at around 5pm on the 30th, so I'll be trawling around the premiere with my luggage.. w00t me! *sigh*

*has fond memories of when you bought that keychain*

Is it the DW season finale or sth? Everyone's going a bit nuts!

I get back morning of the 27th - I so need to find somewhere to stay!

The battery is going on said beloved keychain. Too much overuse to amuse Joey. :(

Yeah, season finale, and last week ended on a massive cliffhanger, hence the flail. Plus next year they aren't doing a season, but 4 one hour eps, so it's all a bit different and weird and sad.

Will text you then! :)

Haven't you found somewhere yet? Eep!!! Margi's floor should still have some room I think!

Oh dear; I'm sure if you brought it to a jeweller or something, they could replace it!?

Oh, that is different!!! I hope it was everything you expected! :)

Oh, complaining patients. Love. :)

New York...gah. I'm still jealous. What are you going to do there anyway?

Hmm...I think visiting once a day would be enough, if you go twice every other day. no? But then again- as my mother just told me- I'm an egoistic little bitch. So maybe that's just me.

*hugs*

I'm going to do EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING. Or as much as I can cram in, anyway! Who needs sleep?

I went. I think it would have been so obvious I was not going to watch Dr Who, and I'd have felt bad. I watched it on iPlayer when I came back.

LOL I see! I hope to see a detailed report of that everything! Will this be your first time in the States?

Yeah, okay. You can always see that, that's true. You're just a better person than I am, obviously. ;)

I'm glad to read that your mum is starting to feel better. :)

Do you have digital? Because it's repeated tomorrow, and there's always the BBC iPlayer.

GAAAAHHHH icon! WHY?!?! *proceeds to stare fearfully*

I watched it on iPlayer when I got back. I am currently in a dilemma of mixed emotions.

*sends Sally Sparrow to save you*

There's a lot to work through, but I'm so glad that the door has been left open for Martha and Mickey to join TW. Also, them all together in the TARDIS may actually be one of the best moments of my life so far *is pathetic*.

How is everything?

They announced yesterday that from 2010 they are moving to Donington Park. So it's good that we still have a British GP, but a bit end of the era for Silverstone.

Have you seen it yet? Have you have you?!

Glad your mum is on her way to recovery!

Owning the same things as people in your TV shows is always top awesome. So yeah, you WIN for having the key chain. ;)

Blink scared the living hell out of me too. That scene in the basement made me want to sit in the corner and suck on my thumb. Sorry for no warning, I guess I followed my own "Spoilers are a no-no" policy.

And if you end up not going the second time, for God's sake, DO NOT tell your mother you ditched her for Who. I've come to think relationships with people are easier to maintain if one doesn't tell that was the reason, lol.

BUT YEAH I hear ya. OMG FINALE!

LOL, it's just that everyone had mentioned what a brilliant ep it was, so I was really looking forward to it, but no-one mentioned scary brillance. I'm still twichy.

LMAO, the thing was, she would know I had ditched her for Who. So I went. Watched it when I came back: have you seeeennnn it?

That's the catch, isn't it? No statue will ever be the same again to me.

Oh God, yes. The tears are still drying on my face and my brain is about to collapse from dilemma on whether I approve or not. I think it's BOTH at the same time. I'm considering splitting into two people and ending my misery, lol.
