some fans are so stupid that it hurts...

in response to an article that Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu had gone for their pre-mandatory-military-service physicals... someone wrote:

Oh god this is a good joke ne? 2 years are too long, I cant accept it. I dont want them to be skinhead (bad word, but its goona be true)...for example Kangin(ex Suju) he isnt come back yet. Or Lee Junki is the ( Read more... )

JYJ, you dont have any job to do?

absurd! pointless question. her comment is a waste of space in the web. and the haircut which all of Korean artistes get when they enter the service is called military cut. that's the right term. maybe someone needs to inform her about it. ahahahaha!

and... is it just me or does her comment imply that 1) if her idol goes to the military for 2 years, she will stop being a fan, and 2) she doesn't want her idols to go to the military because they'll get a military haircut?

she's very shallow. haha. maybe she's very young? 9_9

i think she isn't a fan at all coz all kpop fans know the importance of serving in the military. i don't think any kpop fan would equate entering the military service as having no work. i also don't think that any kpop artiste would find it unmanly or gross to have a really short haircut.

i think jaejoong is going to look reallllllly funny with the buzzcut. hahaha. i'm sorry, i do. it's going to make his eyes look GIGANTIC. but it will be okay. he'll still be the cutest thing on the planet.

...she's equating mandatory military service with being a skinhead? Nice. Even if she were talking solely about the hairstyle, then that is a seriously poor choice of words, English as secondary language or no.

The question being, has anyone else called her on it?

i don't think anyone else commented after that one. haha. possibly everyone else who wanted to comment was struck dumb by her comment and couldn't bring themselves to post after that. ^O^;;; that's certainly what happened to me.

As far as I know, people still talk a lot of crap about guys, especially celebrities, who get out of their military requirement in Korea. So it's kinda funny that she wants to put her precious boys into such a scandal. :p

Though, to be honest, I got irrationally raeg-y at Oh god this is a good joke ne? Stop using fangirl Japanese for a Korean fandom! Learn some fangirl Korean, GDI! *facepalm* Yes, I know it's irrational. >_>;;

maybe she doesn't know it's mandatory? but then she talks about other korean stars that are currently in the military... and she knows that it's around a 2 year term... what a weird child. the internet is showing me new levels of idiocy everyday, cyssie~~~

and... fangirl!japanese in kpop fandom... kekekekekekekekekeke. *pats you* what's the korean equivalent of 'ne'? haha. is there one?

LOL. Sometimes, it's hard to remember how the internet usually devolves to the lowest common denominator.

Haha, I don't know if there is an equivalent of 'ne'...maybe 'ng'? 'cause it's more of an, "it is" meaning, yeah? hmm... *contemplates*

oh man :( That is annoying. It's also crazy that all guys have to do the service, I can't imagine having to do that. T_T

all taiwanese guys have to do military service toooo~ and i think all israeli ... people... also have to. i think in mainland china you can either do military service or do this "survival training" course in university (but really not sure about this one. haha. the documentary i was watching was in mandarin. lol.)

what i think is funny about korea is how so many of their idols do their service later... i think in taiwan, most idols try to do their military service before debut. it makes more sense to get it out of the way, right? who knows.

I think in Germany too..

ahh but what will the companies use on the fans to get them to love their idols more?

"they're going away for two years? nuuuuuu~ how ever will we survive!?!?"

kekekeke. srsly. injured/sick idol and the threat of entering the military for two years are the idol!companies favorite cards to play. :/

...ok i admit maybe it's because those idols are always injured and sick...and there is always that mandatory 2 years thing...but yeah...they love to use it. :P

*hugs you*

oh yeah, i think one of my german friends was talking about his military service... and i think singapore too? (although it's funny to think about singapore having mandatory military service... not because i'm looking down on them... it's just that... as a city-state... it seems like there'd be no physical space to house a whole army plus training grounds. hahaha. i dunno... obviously they must have an army, but my concept of how much geographical space you need to do something is skewed because i'm from canada where we've got more space than anything else. ^O^)

well i also think that korea's new(?) penchant for young idols means that most idols are going to have to debut before military service if they want to experience that explosive popularity. *shrug* still seems like a bit of an awkward career move. but it probably makes the idol companies a lot of money, you're right. kekeke.
