oh that flickering light thing drives me frickin' nuts! that, or when the ballist is going out. i have to say, though, the maintanience guys in this building are pretty good about keeping the lighting 'good'. i haven't seen a flickering light in years. (though i had to report a ballist going out a couple of years ago).

*pets you* hope you can type it up all pretty and neat, and save it as a word doc for future use. a central repository for all documents should be a priority for most all businesses, no matter how big or small. :) add that to your list of goals for the year.

i work in a super posh building but my floor is super ghetto... ^O^;;; our air flow vents were only half turned on for the past year or something. 9_9

It sucks when it snows and you can't even stay home to enjoy it. My company wouldn't close if we had a blizzard. Fortunately, we haven't had any snow so far this winter. *knocks on wood*

I've been in that situation with pdf files. Good luck retyping it!

Lights flickering like that drive me nuts. I'd rather have it off then do that.

i know!! the light was flickering over by another group of desks and it was bothering me from more than 15' away! i don't understand how the people sitting directly under it could stand it. actually, i asked one of the girls... she said it felt like she was working at a rave... hahaha.

pff this isn't snow. i grew up in Manitoba & the snow had to be literally blocking the door so there was no possible way to get out before we got a snow day. *rambles on about walking uphill both ways in my fathers pajama's.....*

i wanted to go out, but i know it's all mushy & muddy & not fun like snow should be. :(

i don't like vancouver snow... well, that's not true... because it's sticky, it clings to trees and things so prettily... but it's not fun to dance and play in... >_< and to show how clueless vancouverites are about snow... i saw a clip on the news of an elementary school putting on a school-wide snowball fight. tsktsk. with vancouver snow? they could take an eye out.

when i first moved here i was told "it never snows in Vancouver" ... and then it snowed. and i'd get hit with snowballs on the street, by strangers!
