and really, i'm looking at vorspeise, einai, and astrael_nyx(?)... haha... applebisque has just fallen in love with 排包 ("pai bao") and would like to find a recipe online. i found these two, but they're in chinese and ... my chinese just isn't that good. haha. any help would be appreciated

i dont' knwo anything about this bread, BUT one thing the recipe seems to have up in the air is that i'm *pretty* sure when you make bread, you can't use just cold tap water - you need to use *warm* water or else the yeast won't activate properly (but not hot coz that will kill the yeast :p) ...which is probably important. but i only know how to make one kind of bread so who knows. i'd check it out though, coz i assume some things like that about yeast bread are probably pretty universal. :)

my mom suggested that where amy thought it was "vanilla extract", it might actually be "custard powder".

and if you make some of this bread, you'll have to take pics to show us!! ^_^
