Tuscaloosa is a pretty decent town, but I HATE the traffic here! The back way to Wal Mart is messed up due to construction, so Steve and I had to go MacFarland and it just sucked. So today was my first experience with gambling at a horse race. Man, it's so addictive! Most bets placed are in the $1-$2 range with names like quinellas, exactas, trifectas, daily doubles, etc. I won one of my bets..$2.60 on a horse named Cherokee Flare that showed in 3rd place.
