You girls always think that and it's not the case. I am not a scrooge at all. I have gifts, a bit of decoration but a general "eh" about the holiday. My friends will eventually end up at my place and we'll have fun but it won't be unlike any other time they show up.

actually i know a whole bunch of girls who get very mneh about the whole deal, which is fair enough. i guess i'll always believe in the magic of christmas, and i'm lucky enough that nothing has ever shattered my belief.

it's new year's that leaves me with the meh feeling.

The only meh feeling I get about New Years Eve is the day after. Maybe I just don't understand what the "magic" of Christmas is supposed to be exactly.

It's true. I've never known a single person who actually likes fruitcake, fuck that. it's the warm pudding soaked in brandy with custard or bust.

I don't think that I have ever had the warm pudding soaked in brandy but it doesn't sound too bad.

I was convinced I was the only one that laughed at the kids scared of Santa.

Mostly because at one time...that was me.

I am not going to make fun of you, especially if he looked like that creepy Santa in "A Christmas Story." I was never scared of him, never enthralled, just generally put off by the fat bastard.
