I don't know, I was expecting something impractical and grand -- the airport equivalent of the "Star Wars" program (SDI).

speaking of airports, I forgot to say, they are serious about the 3-1-1 rule -- I forgot that my nalgene bottle was full of water when it was in my carry-on, and they stopped the bag, and one of the workers emptied the bottle for me.

Hitachino Nest beer is generally pretty interesting; we've tried a few of their styles. I hope your friendship with that dog is as strong as iron for the rest of your days.

we never did drink that beer -- it may be in the fridge still. they chose it in part because jess is kind of in love with owls.

The adorable little owl on the label factored into our buying decision as well, but it turns out to be pretty good experimental beer, too.
