I'm not entirely sure, but my guess is that a beer bottle (empty?) sinks to the bottom rather than floating at the surface. And someone who can't swim also finds their way to the bottom rather quickly. :D

Haha! I think that's true, too. Stay calm and float; choppy waters lead to a quick trip to the bottom.

I like how you incorporate what you have learned from teaching yourself Korean into your English classes. I can see that it helps understand the responses students give sometimes. (Joy)
